Story behind the song
Recently, we lost one of our dearest friends, Uli, way too soon. For more than 40 years, she was by our side more like family than just a friend. Her sudden passing has left a huge void in our lives, but also countless memories of the times we shared together. Since then, weve kept her photo on our bookshelf with a candle burning beside it a small light to honor the warmth she brought into our lives. That image became the inspiration for a song I wrote in her memory. Every time we hear it, well be reminded of her love, her friendship, and the joy she gave us. This is my tribute to Uli.
